Not really expecting it to get added for reasons I have said in the past about "more dimensions don't = more fun" but It is a pretty cool mod with lots of items which can be added to crafting recipes to make lategame more complex
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/aether (it has a neoforge 1.20.1 version which could (Possibliy?) be ported back to forge. no integrated 1.20.1 regular forge version though.

I actually really like the idea of using Aether items to block progression in the pack, like SevTech: Ages did with a few of its modded dimensions. I'll be adding this, I think.
