Requested permission from the following mod authors to use their mods, I'm currently awaiting a response.
I'd like some discussion to go on about potential replacements to the FTB mods, hereafter referred to as the "FTB Suite." I think the Project Odyssey mods could be a potential replacement, but they don't have good compatibility with other mods. Xaeros compatibility is still restricted to a Fabric-only third party integration mod, Harmonia, for example.
Cupboard, Smooth Chunk Save, and Mob Grinding Utils have all had their permission requests denied. Cupboard is a library mod, so I don't think that's a big deal, and Smooth Chunk Save is a minor performance enhancing mod, but Mob Grinding Utils is a pretty big loss. Does anyone know of any similar mods that are either available on Modrinth or under permissive licenses on CurseForge?
Wait, is Mob Grinding Utils even necessary? We have Hostile Neural Networks (Deep Mob Learning) already, which does the same thing as Mob Grinding Utils without the server performance impact of large farms.
Just received permission from henkelmax to use the GraveStone Mod.
L_Ender's Cataclysm has been uploaded onto Modrinth, allowing us to use it without explicit permission under the Modrinth Modpack Permissions Policy.
Harmonia, the Cadmus submod that backports Xaero's compatibility to 1.20.1, has received a Forge version. This means we can switch, we just need to convert all of our quests to Heracles quests (sure @ButterDog will enjoy this :D). I'll make a separate issue for replacing the FTB mods with the Project Odyssey mods at some point.
Ore Excavation could be used instead of FTB Ultimine.
